Dream Catcher Farm is a picturesque horse center nestled in the foothills of Sugarloaf Mountain located in Adamstown, Maryland. The farm is easily reached from Route 270, Route 80 or Route 28. Facilities include a 29-stall barn with wash stall and tack room, an indoor riding ring, an outdoor ring, and spacious paddocks.
Hunter, Jumper, and Equitation riders learn and train under the tutelage of the farm’s owner and trainer, Melinda Cohen, whose experience ranges from teaching children and adults how to ride through preparing students and horses for “A” shows. Trail riders can take advantage of miles of trails in the adjacent Sugarloaf Preserve.
The farm itself has 112 acres with pastures and woods. Dream Catcher Farm has a summer program for children with weekly sessions that run from the end of June Through the end of August. Camp activities include: riding instruction; training in horsemanship and horse care, trail rides, and arts and crafts.
